Membership of NVRD
AVRI is a member of the NVRD (association for Refuse and Cleansing Management).The objective of the NVRD is to promote efficient waste management and cleansing for all of its members. The most important condition is that this occurs within the environmental objectives applicable in the Netherlands, with transparent costing and a balance between the environment, costs and service level. By belonging to this association, the AVRI shares knowledge, support and interests in the area of refuse and cleansing, both nationally and internationally.
Membership of VA
We are also a member of the Vereniging Afvalbedrijven (VA - association for waste processing companies), which at the national and international level promotes the interests of waste companies that are active throughout the chain. The VA aims for a healthy and balanced commercial climate in the Netherlands and Europe and stands for efficient and sustainable waste management. By belonging to this association, AVRI has in the VA a good discussion partner when waste policy is concerned.
