Field of operation
Afvalverwijdering Rivierenland (AVRI) is an intermunicipal collaborative group of nine municipalities in the Rivierenland Region, namely Buren, Culemborg, Geldermalsen, Lingewaal, Maasdriel, Neder-Betuwe, Neerijnen, Tiel and Zaltbommel.
Administrative responsibility
AVRI executes its waste and refuse activities under the administrative responsibility of the General Administration of the Rivierenland Region. The regional waste and refuse bye-laws and the implementation decree lay down the guidelines for the collection and processing of waste.
